Three OSU alumni are participating in this year's Olympics, including Amy Martin (1993-96) in crew, Gary Payton (1986-90) in basketball, and Selena Scoble (1997-98) in volleyball, who is competing for her native country, Australia. She will probably return to OSU next year. Payton has already won an Olympic gold (1996), joining the following Oregon Staters who were also Olympic medal winners:
