Love and basketball, OSU style
Casey Nash isn’t going to lie. The guard for the Beaver women’s basketball team knows she’s good. But she still can’t lie. “J. S. would beat me in a game of one-on-one,” she admits, in reference to her husband, a former OSU basketball player. “But I would definitely give him a game.”

Thirteen Beavers named to all-conference teams
Five of them are on the first team, matching the OSU record in 2000 and 2002. That’s also the second most this season, behind the eight by USC.

Carry Me Back

In the coming weeks...

For the past six years, I have had the privilege of serving as a member of the team that produces and distributes E-clips. One of my special interests has been the history of OSU, and I have taken this interest and used it to offer stories and short features to our readers that promote the traditions, customs, and faculty and alumni most reponsibile for OSU's growth in importance as one of the nation's best-known land-grant universities.

Given the fact that I'll soon be retiring, I thought it might be fun to close out my involvement with E-clips by sharing a list of the 20 historical events I consider to be the most important in school history. We'll cover one event each week until we've counted the list down to No. 1. If you would like for your favorite moment from OSU's past to be considered for the series, please contact me at 541-737-0780 or george.edmonston@orst.edu.

We'll begin next Friday...see you then.

George Edmonston Jr., editor, E-clips.
