Survey ranks OSU College of Forestry No. 1
A new survey of 53 university forestry programs in the United States and Canada found that the College of Forestry at Oregon State University ranks No. 1 in the total number of professional publications and No. 1 in the number of citations to those publications. |

High privilege, with spit, polish and precision
The roadside bomb blew up 4 feet from Spc. Kenneth Kaiser, filling his Humvee with choking smoke and showering the Oregon soldiers inside with flaming fiberglass. Then the pressure blasted the driver's armored door off its hinges. Kaiser stomped on the gas, steering out of the kill zone as Sgt. Jeromy Turner, '03, covered in another soldier's blood, regained consciousness, jumped out and returned fire. |

Details emerge in Saturday morning attack
Oregon State junior Jessica Taylor was walking to work on Saturday morning when
a man walking toward her asked her for the time. As she looked down at her
watch, the man made a sudden movement.
