Are you going to the 2006 Sun Bowl? You've hopefully already figured out how you're getting to El Paso, and now it's time to plan your time while you are there.

Whatever you do for the rest of your stay in El Paso, the Beaver Tailgater on game day is something you won't want to miss.
The tailgater features a great southwestern buffet (including both breakfast and lunch items) and GREAT Beaver atmosphere.

OSU Community Service Event
Thursday, Dec. 28, 10:00 a.m.
Join OSU President Ed Ray along with OSU student leaders and alumni for a community service project at the Child Crisis Center in El Paso. Volunteers will help put together an OSU barbecue tailgate for the kids in addition to helping organize a playground clean-up. Space is limited, so sign up soon. Transportation will be provided from the Hilton El Paso Airport.

Rotary Sun Bowl Team Luncheon
December 28, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
One of the highlights of Sun Bowl activities week is the Rotary Sun Bowl Team Luncheon. The starting lineups from both teams are introduced, and head coaches are highlighted as well. The OSU Alumni Association is selling a limited number of tickets to the luncheon as a convenience for OSU alumni and friends.

Wells Fargo Sun Bowl Fan Fiesta
Dec. 28, 4 pm – 9 pm
El Paso Convention and Performing Arts Center
The Wells Fargo Sun Bowl Fan Fiesta is free to the public and has interactive games, food and drinks available for purchase! The Fan Fiesta features a live broadcast of Beaver Sports Talk radio show, the southwest’s largest fireworks spectacular, musical performances by local bands, and a battle of the bands.
Battle of the Bands – 6:00 p.m.
Juarez Room opens for OSU social – 7:00 p.m.
Live radio show broadcast – 8:00 p.m.
No registration necessary, free and open to the public.
Tickets for the Brut Sun Bowl can be purchased by calling 1-800-GO-BEAVS or visiting the OSU Athletic Ticket Office located in 107 Gill Coliseum.
All Beaver fans can order tickets to the game at this time, however, fans who purchased season football tickets this year have until Dec. 4, 2006 to place their order and receive BASF priority. All orders received after Dec. 4, 2006 will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis while tickets remain.
Ticket price ranges from $40 to $60. |
