A Dec. 31 pep rally organized by the Alumni Association and held at the Wells Fargo Arena at Arizona State drew a crowd of more than 11,000 fans in a riotous celebration of the Beavers' excellent season. Thundersticks provided by the Association helped to pump up the team and fans with enthusiasm for the next day's triumphant rout of Notre Dame with a smashing score of 41-9.
